Link Year 2.0

I’m in Branson. I’m in Branson! I’M IN BRANSON!!! Holy cow, this summer flew by faster than the speed of light.  If you couldn’t tell, I am PUMPED to be back in good ole Branson again and to begin this year of protegeing with Link Year.  It’s bittersweet leaving Dallas filled with family, but its finally time to be back up here. One year ago, today, I was getting ready to move into some random town where I knew no one and no idea what I was doing - now look!  When people ask what this year looks like I just say its Link Year 2.0! It's finally time to begin another year doing new things.  I never would have pictured myself 1. living in Branson, Missouri and 2. staying at Link Year another year to help out.  The Lord is so good to me.  We move onto campus tomorrow with all the other Proteges and Campus Shepards and then the students move in on Sunday (I think).  And then after that, the year begins by going to SOTO for a week of making community and getting to know each other.  I am so excited to get to know this new group of students, and be a part of watching them grow throughout the year, and growing myself.  God is in control of this year, and when He is in charge, He is going to move - I cannot wait to see how He moves through these people in this year.

This year, Christ has placed a new word on my heart to conquer.  Fearless.  He is calling me to be a fearless warrior, and I have no idea what that means for right now.  What I do know is that I am not going to just wake up one day with no fear, but instead, God is going to put me in situations where I can choose to not worry and choose to have no fear.  I am excited to see how this unfolds, and blessed that I have a God that I can lean on when I feel like I can’t be fearless.  I don’t feel like He is just calling ME to be fearless though, but everyone.  We are all called to live with out worry.  So lets all join together and pray against worry and fear for this year and for the future.

On another note, I am super excited because being back in Branson and at Link Year means this blog will be WAY more exciting.  I will continue (or restart) to post weekly for everyone, and this will be a way too update y'all my life in Missouri.  See y'all in a week!!
