Lord: The Sufficient Seeker

God loves us despite how far we run.  This is such a common saying in the "Christian world," yet it just hit me how true it is.  I, a sinner, always have a home to run back to.  I always have a safe place, and no matter how far I have drifted away, or how big my sins might be, The Lord meets me.

He comes to where you call Him.  You don't have to clean up your home, or polish up your life, He already has a place for you to stay at.  He comes and cleans yours for you, and He lets you nest and rest in Him while He washes your sins away.  He provides fresh water for those who are thirsty. By clinging to Christ, you get built.  The closer you are to Him, the more He instills His plans and heart in you.

I am reminded of these truths today, feeling so far gone.  I am tired, broken, and feel as if I have strayed so far deep in the waters that no one could find me.  BUT GOD...But God is the brightest light, the sufficient seeker, and He is meeting me in the midst of my brokenness to wash away all sins, all lies and all broken pieces of my life to make me new again.

This is the who Christ is, and who I want to know deeper and deeper.
