I’d say this week has been one of the best since I have come to Link Year. It’s crazy to me that we have only been here for a month, and I already feel so close to everyone here. God’s hand has been so evident in our daily fellowship, weather its been a heart to heart, or just fun with friends. I love these people. This weekend, a group of us went to an abandoned bridge and explored around it. I wouldn’t say it was the easiest hike, but it was a ton of fun. So my weekend consisted of hiking to bridges and dumpster diving. During the week, we got our accountability partners and our small groups. Personally, those are two of my favorite things, because I love building relationships and taking them deeper. My prayer for both groups is that we grow closer in The Lord, and after Link Year is over we still talk on a daily basis and keep each other firm in the word. This week has been amazing for friendships, but I have also been trying to balance time with friends and time with God. Being on campus, you are surrounded with people 24/7, so its easy to just hang out with them all the time and not set time to the side for God. I have been struggling with setting a time for quiet time, and I have realized how important that is. I thought that being here, I would be able to spend more time in The Word, but it has been the opposite. I am learning to balance all these things with friends, class, and quiet time, but I know that I can set time for each. This week has been amazing, and I cant wait for more weeks to come. The family vibes from here are amazing.
