He comes to where you call Him.  You don't have to clean up your home, or polish up your life, He already has a place for you to stay at.  He comes and cleans yours for you, and He lets you nest and rest in Him while He washes your sins away.  He provides fresh water for those who are thirsty.

All my single ladies can agree that the we dread that one question coming home for the holiday...."soooooo, have you met the one yet?"  I usually reply with some smart comment or laugh it off so people stop talking about it. I am single, and I have been my whole life so far.  I have managed 20 years of my life without someone's arm to hang on to and honestly, I have been fine that way. But lately, I have been thinking about it a lot.

 I was going through my journal from Link Year this week, and I came across an old "Hot Seat" session.  Hot Seat is where we sit down with out guest speaker, and are able to ask them literally anything we want!  One question that almost always got asked was "What would you tell your 18 year old self?"  I was always so intrigued with their answers.  I sat on my floor reading different speakers answers, and it got me thinking...what would I tell myself?

This weekend we celebrated Tima's Birthday by venturing off to Tyler State Park and going camping!  The days were filled with lots of camp food, swimming and hanging out in our hammocks.  Here are some of the photos taken from the weekend.

I am finally back home after a long and life giving two years of living in the weird little tourist town, that I like to call Hillbilly Vegas.  Leaving Branson this time around was filled with emotion and bittersweet feelings.  I wish I could say that I handled it like a champ, but I cried the whooooole drive down to Fayetteville (for real, the whole way).  Saying goodbye to a town that is filled with so many new families members and a place that hold so many of your favorite memories just honestly sucks.  

 For some reason, I have ended up in Waco, TX three times in the past month!  All for different reasons, in which one included a bachelorette party for my dear friend, Dominique!  We have been friends for almost 8 years now, and it was a huge blessing to be able to celebrate and stand by her side on her big day.  Here are some of the photos from that fun weekend, mostly at Magnolia and a few from some other places in downtown.

 There’s a moment in your life, where you are transitioning from one place to another, and its a waiting period.  This could be your senior year when your graduating and waiting to find out about where your going to college. Or maybe you are waiting to find out about a job, and aren’t really sure what you are doing.  For me, Link Year is coming to an end in a month, and I still have no idea what I am doing after. 

Two years ago, now, I went on a mission trip to Costa Rica, with Gateway Church.  I still think about those two weeks I spent there, probably on a daily basis. Costa Rica has been my favorite place ever since I went there, not necessarily because of the location, even though it is beautiful there, but because of the people I met and grew close to. I can honestly say that I have family in CR now.  These photos hold so many sweet memories in my heart, and I wanted to share them with you guys! 

I was in Mark 5, and the story of how Jesus sets free the possessed man stood out to me.  Basically, in this chapter, there is a man that is possessed.  He stumbles upon Jesus and begs Him to heal him.  Jesus does so, by casting the demons into a herd of pigs near by.  The man is so excited to be free that he started to search for way to share what had just happened - to share the good news. He asks Jesus to send him out with Him to spread The Word.  But The Lord replies to the man in a unique way. 

It’s the new year, and most of y'all are thinking I’m going to write about my New Year's resolutions.  Well, you're wrong.  I’m not going to sit here and share everything I have planned to change for the new year because I don’t believe that is in my hands.  Yes, I think it is great to plan things to change, or new ideas for the year, but, speaking for myself, I haven't followed through on most of my ideas.  So instead, I am going to tell you about what God has done the past year in my life, and what He is doing through this next year.

Well, I realized that I haven't updated y'all on my life in a while, and a lot has changed.  So, here is my life in the past 3 months.  Firstly, I have officially moved back to Branson, Missouri to work as a protege for Link Year! I’ve been here for almost 2 months now, and it has been an incredible journey so far. 

If your in the dust, He will be there.  If your at the mountain top, He will be there with you.  No matter the place your at in your heart, Christ will meet you.  He’s not surprised when you are broken or hurting.  He knows you live in a fallen world and that there are hard times. He wants to revive you and protect you in those situations
